I'm taking a moment out of my blogging hiatus to share some news.
A few weeks ago, I began sending queries to literary agents for my novel, The Stolen Lady. Expecting mostly rejections, I haven't sent any more out, thinking it would be best to see what sort of responses I get from the ones I've already sent first. However, I'm pleased to report that this week, I've had some nibbles! I have the opportunity to send out a partial manuscript, and to describe my elation...well, you can only imagine how exciting this is. It's another step toward this crazy dream of mine, and just the honor of being asked to submit anything is flattering. I'm going into this knowing it could still be rejected, but I also go into this knowing I've already done something right to get this far.
Celebrate with me! And if you're so inclined, say a prayer as well to give me patience!
