I am nothing if not persistent, but sometimes, even I feel the sting.
I recently had the opportunity to send an agent a partial manuscript. I was over the moon with excitement. But this week...I got a rejection.
The good news is I got a personalized rejection with some very nice comments and basically no criticism of my work. The bad news is it's still a rejection. However, with no criticism, I may be very close to finding the right agent and/or publisher for me. And being close? That's exciting.
